These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between REQUES A Product (the “Company”) and the individual or entity accessing or using the Website or Service (“User” or “Importer”). By accessing the Website and/or using any part of the Service, the User acknowledges, represents, and agrees that they have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted these Terms and agree to be legally bound by them.
The Company reserves the exclusive right, at its sole discretion, to modify, amend, update, or replace these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any such changes shall take effect immediately upon posting on the Website. Continued use of the Website or Service following the posting of revised Terms shall constitute the User’s acceptance of such changes.
If the User does not agree to these Terms in whole or in part, the User must immediately discontinue access to the Website and shall not use the Service under any circumstances.
Registration, Accounts, and Passwords
REQUES A Product may, at its discretion, require Users to create an account, register, and/or obtain login credentials in order to access the Website or certain features of the Service. Where registration is required, the User agrees that all information provided shall be true, accurate, current, and complete at all times.
REQUES A Product reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse access to the Website or Service, suspend or terminate any account, or restrict use of any resources where the Company determines that registration information is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or otherwise unacceptable.
The User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of all login credentials, including usernames and passwords, and accepts full responsibility for all activities conducted under their account, whether authorized or not. Website and Registration Administration
Website Content and Third-Party Information
As a convenience to Users, REQUES A Product may, at its sole discretion, provide information, tools, links, or resources on the Website relating to Customs procedures, shipping requirements, government regulations, third-party service providers, or other matters that may impact the use, cost, or timing of the Service.
The User acknowledges and agrees that:
- REQUES A Product is not obligated to provide such information;
- Any information provided is for general informational purposes only;
- REQUES A Product does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, or timeliness of any such information;
- The inclusion of such content does not constitute legal, customs, tax, or professional advice.
The User further acknowledges that applicable laws, customs policies, duties, taxes, and third-party requirements may change without notice and that it remains the User’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. The availability of information on the Website shall not be construed as a means of avoiding, bypassing, or modifying any legal or regulatory obligations.
Global Forwarding Address – Requirements and Limitations
Upon registration for the Service, each User will be assigned a unique account reference (“Mailbox Number”) and a designated global forwarding address. The User shall ship all packages and mail to the assigned forwarding address strictly in the format provided by REQUES A Product.
The assigned global forwarding address may be updated or changed at any time at the Company’s discretion. Any change shall become effective upon publication on the Website. Where practicable, REQUES A Product will endeavour to provide up to thirty (30) days’ notice prior to any address change; however, failure to provide such notice shall not give rise to liability.
The User is solely responsible for ensuring that all address details are accurate and correctly formatted. REQUES A Product shall not be liable for packages or mail that are delayed, misrouted, or not delivered due to incorrect, incomplete, or improper addressing by the User.
At its discretion, REQUES A Product may assist in locating or retrieving packages sent to an incorrect address or deemed undeliverable. The User acknowledges and agrees to prepay all additional fees, charges, or costs incurred in connection with such assistance.
Import and Export Regulations and Limitations (Forwarding Country)
The User may, at their sole risk, ship packages or mail to the assigned global forwarding address from a third country, provided that all shipments fully comply with applicable export regulations of the country of origin and import regulations of the country in which the global forwarding address is located.
REQUES A Product shall not be a party to, nor assume responsibility for, transactions conducted between the User and third-party sellers, exporters, or carriers. Shipments originating from third countries may require the engagement of a customs broker, payment of customs duties, taxes, or other charges that fall outside the scope of the Service.
At its discretion, REQUES A Product may assist the User in retrieving shipments held by Customs in the forwarding country. The User agrees to prepay all related costs and fees associated with such assistance.
The User further agrees to promptly notify REQUES A Product of any shipment sent to the global forwarding address that:
- has a declared value exceeding USD $2,500, or
- requires a validated export license or special authorization.
Receiving, Inspection, Acceptance, and Refusal of Packages and Mail
REQUES A Product may receive packages and mail delivered to the global forwarding address by courier, postal service, or in-person delivery on behalf of the User. Receipt or signature upon delivery does not constitute acceptance of any package or mail item.
All packages and mail are subject to inspection at the Company’s discretion. REQUES A Product is only obligated to perform a visual inspection of the external packaging and to note any visible external damage. The Company is not obligated to inspect, verify, or confirm the condition, quantity, or integrity of the contents.
Any inspection conducted by REQUES A Product is solely for the purpose of determining eligibility for air transport or compliance with shipping regulations. The User acknowledges that REQUES A Product shall not be liable for damage to contents arising from inadequate or improper packaging, regardless of whether such damage was foreseeable.
REQUES A Product reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse to accept, process, or forward any package or mail item, and will notify the User of the reason for refusal where practicable. The User agrees to promptly cooperate in resolving any issues relating to refused items.
Refused packages or mail will be held for a maximum of thirty (30) days, after which they may be disposed of without further notice. Where possible, REQUES A Product may assist in returning refused shipments to the sender, provided that the User prepays all associated costs and fees.
Third-Party Deliveries, Overseas Couriers & Missing Package Claims
REQUES A Product acts solely as a freight forwarder and receiving agent for packages delivered by third-party sellers, overseas couriers, postal services, and logistics providers. REQUES A Product does not control, operate, or supervise the actions, delivery practices, or internal processes of overseas vendors or third-party carriers.
Where a third-party or overseas courier marks a package as “Delivered”, REQUES A Product’s responsibility is limited to verifying whether the package was received at the assigned forwarding address. REQUES A Product shall not be liable for packages that are misdelivered, incorrectly delivered, stolen, lost, or marked as delivered by the overseas courier but not physically received at the forwarding address.
Mandatory Reporting Timeframe
The User acknowledges and agrees that any inquiry, claim, or dispute relating to a package marked as delivered by an overseas courier must be reported to REQUES A Product within forty-eight (48) hours of the delivery confirmation provided by the courier.
Failure to report a missing or unreceived package within the 48-hour reporting window shall constitute a waiver of any claim against REQUES A Product in relation to that package. Claims raised weeks or months after the reported delivery date cannot be investigated effectively and will not be accepted.
Limitation of Responsibility
REQUES A Product shall not be responsible for:
- Delivery errors made by overseas couriers or third-party carriers;
- Packages delivered to the wrong address by the overseas courier;
- Theft, loss, or misplacement occurring prior to receipt at the forwarding address;
- Delays or failures caused by the overseas courier, seller, or postal authority;
- Claims reported outside the required reporting timeframe.
Any investigation conducted by REQUES A Product after the reporting window shall be done solely as a courtesy and shall not be construed as an admission of liability.
Customer Responsibility
The User is solely responsible for:
- Monitoring shipment tracking;
- Promptly notifying REQUES A Product of delivery discrepancies;
- Filing claims directly with the overseas seller or courier where applicable;
- Ensuring accurate shipping information is provided to the seller.
REQUES A Product does not guarantee recovery, replacement, or reimbursement of packages lost or misdelivered by third-party or overseas carriers.
Returns, Refused Shipments & Return to Sender
Once a package has been received at the forwarding address and scheduled or shipped to Jamaica, the shipping and handling fees become due and payable in full, regardless of whether the User later decides to return, refuse, or cancel the order. This is because REQUES A Product would have already incurred shipping and handling costs on behalf of the User.
REQUES A Product does not provide seller return labels. Where a return is requested, the User is responsible for obtaining a valid return label directly from the seller. Returns will not be processed without an approved return label.
Upon receipt of a valid return label, REQUES A Product may, at its discretion, assist with returning the package to the seller via postal service or other suitable carrier. The User acknowledges and agrees that all return shipping costs, administrative fees, and handling charges associated with the return are the sole responsibility of the User and must be paid in advance.
REQUES A Product does not guarantee acceptance of returned items by the seller, nor is it responsible for seller disputes, refund timelines, or credit determinations. Any assistance provided in facilitating a return is done as a courtesy only and does not constitute acceptance of liability.
Missing, Incorrect, or Incomplete Package Contents
REQUES A Product acts solely as a receiving and forwarding agent for packages delivered by third-party sellers, vendors, and overseas couriers. REQUES A Product does not open, alter, or re-pack sealed packages received at the forwarding address unless expressly requested by the User and confirmed in writing.
Where a package arrives sealed and unopened, REQUES A Product cannot verify, confirm, or guarantee the accuracy, quantity, or correctness of the contents. Any missing, incorrect, substituted, or defective items contained within a sealed package are the sole responsibility of the seller, manufacturer, or overseas vendor from whom the item was purchased.
REQUES A Product shall not be liable for:
- Items missing from sealed packages;
- Incorrect or substituted items sent by the seller;
- Manufacturing defects or seller packing errors;
- Discrepancies between the order placed and the contents received;
- Claims based solely on customer expectation without seller confirmation.
Customer Responsibility
The User is responsible for:
- Verifying order accuracy with the seller prior to shipment;
- Filing disputes, claims, or refund requests directly with the seller or platform (e.g., online marketplace);
- Providing written proof from the seller where a packing error is acknowledged.
Any assistance provided by REQUES A Product in contacting sellers or reviewing disputes shall be purely discretionary and does not constitute acceptance of liability.
Importation of Fragile Items and High-Risk Electronics
The User acknowledges that certain items, including but not limited to televisions, monitors, screens, electronic displays, glass items, and other fragile or high-risk goods, are particularly susceptible to damage during handling, transportation, airport screening, loading, unloading, and customs inspection processes.
REQUES A Product does not control the handling of packages by airlines, airports, ground handlers, customs authorities, or third-party logistics providers. As a result, damage may occur despite proper packaging.
Mandatory Prior Notification
Users intending to import fragile items or high-risk electronics must notify REQUES A Product in writing prior to placing the order or shipping the item. Failure to provide prior notification may result in:
- Refusal of the shipment;
- Delays in processing; or
- The shipment being handled strictly at the User’s sole risk, without any liability on the part of REQUES A Product.
REQUES A Product reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline, restrict, or impose special conditions on the shipment of fragile items.
Assumption of Risk
By proceeding with the shipment of fragile items, whether with or without prior notification, the User expressly acknowledges and accepts all risks of damage, including damage occurring during airport handling, security screening, customs inspection, or air transport.
REQUES A Product shall not be liable for damage to fragile items caused by:
- Airport or airline handling;
- Customs inspection or screening procedures;
- Third-party carriers or handlers;
- Inadequate packaging provided by the seller or manufacturer.
Insurance Recommendation
Users are strongly advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage directly from the seller or a third-party insurer prior to shipment. Any insurance claims must be pursued directly with the seller, carrier, or insurer, as applicable.
No Refunds or Replacement
REQUES A Product does not guarantee replacement, repair, or reimbursement for fragile items damaged in transit. Acceptance of such shipments does not constitute acceptance of liability.
Package Collection, Partial Pickup & Third-Party Ownership
All packages received by REQUES A Product and assigned to a User account are deemed the responsibility of the registered User, regardless of whether the package was ordered for personal use, resale, or on behalf of a third party.
No Selective or Partial Collection
Users are not permitted to selectively collect, separate, or partially retrieve packages from their account while leaving other packages unpaid or uncollected, unless expressly approved by REQUES A Product in writing.
All outstanding packages associated with a User account must be collected and paid for in full before any package may be released, unless otherwise authorized by the Company.
Third-Party / “Friend” Orders
REQUES A Product does not recognize third-party ownership claims within a single User account. Claims that a package belongs to a friend, customer, or third party do not relieve the User of responsibility for payment, collection, or compliance with these Terms.
Failure by a third party to provide funds does not constitute grounds for delayed collection, selective pickup, fee waivers, or dispute against REQUES A Product.
Storage & Abandonment
Packages left uncollected beyond the Company’s stated collection period may:
- Accrue storage fees;
- Be restricted from further release of other packages; and/or
- Be deemed abandoned and disposed of in accordance with the Company’s storage and abandonment policy.
Right to Refuse Release
REQUES A Product reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse the release of any package where:
- Outstanding balances exist on the account;
- Prior packages remain uncollected;
- Storage fees are unpaid; or
- The User has a history of partial or delayed collection.
Customs Valuation, De Minimis Threshold & Grouped Shipments
All shipments imported through REQUES A Product are subject to inspection, valuation, and clearance by the Jamaica Customs Agency (JCA) or other relevant authorities. Customs duties and taxes are assessed in accordance with applicable laws and official Jamaica Customs policies.
The User acknowledges that Jamaica Customs applies a de minimis (duty-free) threshold of USD $100, meaning that goods with a total declared FOB value of USD $100 or less may enter Jamaica without the payment of customs duties or taxes. Where the declared value exceeds USD $100, customs duties and taxes are assessed on the full value of the shipment, not merely the amount exceeding the threshold, as outlined by the Jamaica Customs Agency:

Where multiple orders, purchases, or items are consolidated, packaged, or shipped together in a single box or shipment, Customs authorities may treat the shipment as one consignment for valuation purposes and assess duties and taxes based on the combined declared value, regardless of whether the orders were placed separately, from different merchants, or at different times.
The User agrees that all customs duties, General Consumption Tax (GCT), administrative fees, storage charges, penalties, or other government-imposed fees arising from Customs valuation or clearance are the sole responsibility of the User. REQUES A Product shall not be liable for customs determinations, delays, reassessments of value, or charges imposed by Customs authorities.
